Support the Ministries of Walker Chapel
Dear Friends and Supporters of Walker Chapel,
As Walker Chapel United Methodist Church begins our annual stewardship season this fall, I want to take a moment to share my gratitude for the wide community of people who care for and sustain this historic congregation. Even in my first months here as a pastor, I have witnessed firsthand the profound generosity, care, and love that make Walker Chapel such a special place—a spirit that extends well beyond our sanctuary walls to friends and supporters near and far.
Whether you are connected to Walker Chapel through family roots, fond memories, our shared ministry in the community, or simply a desire to see this ministry flourish, you are a vital part of our extended family.
As we look toward 2027, I invite you to partner with us by prayerfully considering how you might support Walker Chapel financially and through your prayers in the year ahead.
Throughout October, we are reflecting on what it means to be faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us, followed by a season of gratitude in November leading up to our Commitment Sunday on November 22. Gifts and pledges from friends and supporters allow us to maintain this sacred ground, serve our neighbors, and plan responsibly for our ongoing ministries in the coming year.
If you feel called to invest in Walker Chapel’s mission from wherever you are, you can make a one-time gift or set up recurring support online through our giving page.
Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, and your encouragement. May our shared commitments deepen our love for God and our neighbors, ensuring that Walker Chapel remains a beacon of grace, peace, and service for years to come.
I am grateful to walk this journey with you.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Minoo Kim
Pastor, Walker Chapel United Methodist Church.
