Scout Sunday - February 26

Walker Chapel’s annual Boy and Girl Scout Sunday service will be held on February 26. Current and former scouts are invited to wear their uniforms to church, participate in the service, and earn their “Scout Sunday” back of the vest patches.  Email children@walkerchapel.org for more information.

There’s an app for us!

Walker Chapel is happy to announce that we now have an app for the iPhone!  A tech-savvy member of the Walker Chapel family developed the app, which was recently accepted by Apple.  A version for the iPad is in the works.  We are grateful to the developer, who is a young teenager and may be one of the youngest developers to have an app accepted.

To get the free app, go to iTunes and search for “Walker Chapel.”

On March 7, for one day only, Walker Chapel will receive a donation for every take-out purchase (not delivery) from the list below at HomeMade Pizza Co. at the Lee Heights Shops in Arlington. They make the pizza, you bring it home and pop it into the oven, and pretty soon you have great piping hot pizza!  Check out the company’s website, www.homemadepizza.com.  Then order some food for March 7, and urge all your friends and neighbors to do the same. The proceeds will go to Walker Chapel’s missions and outreach program.
