The Methodist Church has some 56 conferences with more around the world. The Virginia Conference meets annually and is attended by Clergy and laypersons to participate in leadership and discussion groups.

There are some 48 churches with a membership over 27,000 in our District. Ours is one of the few Chapels.  Originally a Chapel was a small group who went to a larger church for communion. We are proudly small by now host communion.
