The church life at Walker Chapel revolves around worship, fellowship, friendship and outreach. Many of our activities combine worship, advancing our ministries and the opportunity to socialize with one another.

Sunday Worship Service
Our regular Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. After the service, all are invited to the social hall downstairs for refreshments and fellowship. Special seasonal services at Christmas and Easter are also held. Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month. All Christians are invited to participate whether or not they are members of Walker Chapel.

Adult Sunday School
Three adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:45 a.m.:
The Forum Class meets in the Conference Room to discuss issues of theology and society found in contemporary writings.
Sunday School on Monday night!
The First Night Fellowship meets each Monday night for a light supper and a lesson from Andy Taylor and the folks in Mayberry--or, becinning in March 2010, Jed and the other Beverly Hillbillies. Child care is provided. See the Bulletin Board or call the church office for more information.
Youngsters (ages 3–10) attend the early part of the regular worship service; then, after the children’s sermon, children may leave the regular service to attend the children’s Sunday School class.
Child care is provided for infants and toddlers every Sunday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
We offer a program of youth ministry for teens in grades 6 through 12. The program offers study, outreach, and social activities.
Various programs offer our young members the chance to pursue Bible study and to participate in service projects, musical performances, entertainment and other recreational activities.
Special Programs
Our special programs offer a wide variety of activities and programs, including:
• Springfest and Oktoberfest bazaars to support local service organizations.
• blood drives
• Vacation Bible School (in cooperation with Cherrydale United Methodist Church)
• numerous charitable activities.
