Sunday School on Monday Night????

Well, sort of. "First Night Fellowship" meets on Mondays at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall! There's a bit of supper - if you let us know by Sunday that you’re coming - followed by a brief DVD adventure with none other than Superman! That's right, the old TV series starring George Reeve as the Man of Steel. We’ll talk about the parable we’ve seen, and conclude by 8:00 p.m. SHARP! There will be child care, provided by our own Nursery caregiver (if you let us know in advance), and children are welcome to share the meal with their parents. Come and enjoy the fellowship as well as the lesson, and be sure to tell the church office you're coming, so supper will be waiting for you. Questions? Contact the pastor!

Mark your calendar - We'll be having our traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake supper on March 8 and 6:30 p.m. Plan to join us for great fellowship (as well as the opporltunity of having breakfast for supper) on the eve of the Lenten season. More details to come!

During Lent, you are invited to share in "Heart Song," a Sunday afternoon time of Music and Fellowship Meals. We’ll begin at 5:00 PM with several local friends and musicians providing a range of musical styles and messages, followed by the fellowship of the Table. The first Heart Song will feature Dr. Young Choi, an extraordinary pianist, who performed here last August. Dinner? A Chili-Cook Off, in which you’re invited to bring a crock of your "A-Game Chili" to share, one cupful at a time, with everyone! The Church will provide bread and drinks.... and perhaps antacids! Families are welcome, as are neighbors and friends, for the beginning of a special Lenten journey, filled with Heart Songs and Good Food at the Table of the Kingdom! The first Heart Song will be on Sunday, March 13, starting at 5:00 PM, and child care will be available with advance reservations.
